Larry Friedberg, has after 48 years of studying and teaching tai chi, qigong, meditation, breathing and healing, he has been able to transcend these culturally bound traditions to formulate a personal and group method of training, involving the physical, energetic and mental aspects of these disciplines, which engenders a deep soul/mind/body connection. He has trained in South Africa, Holland, Japan, and New Zealand and is currently the head instructor for Tai Chi Sydney. He has over the past twenty-eight years continued to train in the internal and therapeutic arts and instructs tai chi classes in and around Sydney for many organisations, City Councils, Retirement Homes, individuals and groups.
Low Impact. Tai chi is a slow, flowing form of exercise that’s sometimes described as “meditation in motion.” The practice involves a series of choreographed moves with evocative descriptions, such as “grasp the sparrow’s tail” or “wave hands like clouds.” As your body moves, your mind has to focus. But tai chi also encourages relaxation, which helps ease stress.
